Just cleaned, restrung, and professionally set up, this Fender Japan ST62-80TX is a beautiful example of one of the most desirable vintage-inspired Stratocasters produced during the Crafted in Japan era.
Finished in a stunning Burgundy Mist Metallic with a rosewood fingerboard and aged plastics, this guitar captures the look and feel of an early-'60s Strat while delivering the exceptional craftsmanship Fender Japan is known for. The factory-installed Texas Special pickups provide a little more output and midrange punch than traditional vintage pickups while still retaining plenty of classic Strat chime and clarity.
This example is in excellent condition overall. There is a finish chip at the top edge of the headstock (pictured), but otherwise the guitar presents exceptionally well with very little visible wear. The frets show little to no noticeable wear and have plenty of life remaining.
A Fender gig bag is included.
