2025 CTM D-45 Prewar Feature 《Adirondack Spruce》 #2945116

This is a custom D-45 with vintage specifications, motivated by the original pre-war D-45.

It is in mint condition, practically like new!

It features a premium grade Adirondack spruce top, premium grade East Indian rosewood sides and back, hexagon fingerboard inlays, a mother-of-pearl vertical head logo, a brown tortoise headplate, a brown tortoise pickguard (under-finish), vintage-style covered Grover tuners, a long saddle, Golden Era bracing (Adirondack spruce), a 1930 Style neck shape, and a 42.9mm nut width. This custom D-45 incorporates highly popular pre-war era specifications to pursue looks, sound, and playability!

The first thing that catches the eye is the Brown Tortoise headplate, which also existed on the original D-45 of that era. The deep, near-black tortoise shell pattern gives it an incredibly luxurious feel. In addition, the mother-of-pearl Martin logo creates an elegant appearance. Brown tortoise headplates are rarely produced even for custom orders, giving this piece a truly special feel.

The deep, piano-like bass and the bright, shimmering, extended high frequencies produce the beautiful "bell-like" chime that only a D-45 can deliver. This richness of overtones is something you can never experience with other models. The pre-war style 1930 shape neck has a slightly thick profile, yet it offers a comfortable fit that feels like it sticks to your hand, allowing vibrations to transmit through the entire instrument from the neck to the head. The sense of openness and the thick, warm sound generated by the premium grade Adirondack top and forward-shifted, scalloped Golden Era style Adirondack bracing are truly outstanding.

This instrument was treated with great care by its previous owner and is in beautiful, near-mint condition! With an original retail price of over 2.4 million yen, this is a highly recommended guitar with extremely desirable specifications at an excellent price!
