The Ibanez AAD77CE combines the larger Grand Dreadnought body design with premium tonewoods and modern stage-ready electronics for a powerful, articulate acoustic experience. Developed through years of research and refinement, the Grand Dreadnought body is approximately 5% larger than a standard dreadnought, producing greater volume, fuller low end, and broader dynamic response while remaining comfortable thanks to the Advanced Access Cutaway and ergonomic shaping.
A solid Sitka Spruce top paired with Flamed Maple back and sides delivers clear projection, crisp highs, tight low end, and strong note definition. Ibanez X-M Bracing enhances resonance and stage projection, while the A.I.R.port internal sound channel improves player monitoring by directing sound toward the performer. The Low Oval Grip Okoume neck, Purpleheart fretboard, and Purpleheart bridge provide smooth playability and natural tonal transfer.
The AAD77CE features an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp with onboard tuner for flexible live performance control. Balanced XLR and 1/4" outputs provide easy integration into stage or studio setups, while additional details including the tapered headstock, Advantage bridge pins, and high-ratio die-cast tuners improve tuning stability and day-to-day usability.
