Now for sale as  pictured here is an 1974  Gibson  ES -175D in excellent condition .  Its a golden sunburst with birds eye figures  on the sound board.

 I am the second owner and purchased from original owner  in 2010 .   The guitar was given a professional refretting to original specs and   action set up for  half  rounds strings 11 - 49 guage.

 The action is easy and even  and the strings have enough mass to bring out the  warmth  and punch of the big body and still shimmer for Chorus effects and give  beautiful feedback tones .

       The guitar has  seen few hours of playing  since  the refret and sounds great as a fifty year old guitar of this vintage should . It has spent its life located in Central California and comes with original hard shell case with red lining.

     Although the finish is nearly perfect imperfections include small dings in upper bout , a  cloudy smudge,  in the finish below the  input jack, light scratches on back of neck , a chip on pickguard .  The guitar case has a few tears on the vinyl .
