Beautiful 3/4 size double bass made in Mittenwald/Bayern, Germany by Andrew Schroetter — one of the most respected names in student string instruments. This is a Model 115, serial #6728, built in August 1993.
Mittenwald has been a center of fine instrument making for centuries, and this bass reflects that tradition. Plywood top and sides with an ebony fingerboard and maple bridge. The tone is warm and full — ideal for a student, school orchestra player, or adult beginner.
