This pedal is both one of my proudest builds as a hobbyist builders but also my main distortion box for the last few years - it’s held up exceptionally well in spite of cramming way too much pedal into one little box!
In this pedal you’ll find a clone of the classic Rat circuit on the left side and an ODR-1 circuit on the right; I found these two pedals, while fairly simple, give you the best range of tonal variety for the sounds I like. To make this even better, I added an order switch that controls which effect comes first in the chain. I can’t even begin to describe the additional tonal options that can give you.
This pedal was handwired by myself, and I sought out to keep the layout simple - while I’ve thoroughly stress tested the pedal, should something go wrong, it’s been made to be an easy fix!
Runs off standard 9v center negative power supplies.
