Fender Jazzmaster - Ice Blue Metallic (w/ Mods/Upgrades!)

I bought this on Reverb not that long ago! I've just realized from it- I'm not a jazzmaster guy. But if I were- this would be a great one! The person I bought it from had done a bunch of mods to it, including piecing together pieces from different Jazzmasters to build a version they liked.

Short version: This is a bit of a hybrid build: 2021 Fender Vintera '60s Jazzmaster body (Ice Blue Metallic, alder) paired with a 2024 Fender Player II neck (rosewood, 9.5" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, rolled edges).

• Pickups swapped to Fender Vintera II '50s Jazzmaster units (~8k output, hotter than stock)
• Full rewire with Gavitt vintage cloth wire, CTS 500K low-drag pots, treble bleed circuit, and Orange Drop tone caps (NOTE: This is the one change I made after buying it. I had the 500k pots swapped back out for the more standard (for JM's) 1k pots!)
• Switchcraft output jack
• Mint green Fender American Pro II pickguard; aged white pickup covers and Strat knobs
• Copper shielding in all cavities
• American Vintage Jazzmaster tremolo with locking mechanism
• Neck pocket shim (StewMac 0.25°) to fix break angle and allow lighter strings
• American Professional Jazzmaster bridge (narrow 9.5" spacing, Mustang saddles) with American Vintage thimbles
• 3-way toggle rotated 45° for easier switching
• Nut filed and polished; fret ends smoothed
• Lightweight aluminum neck plate
• Fender/Schaller strap locks
  

Overall, it's a great guitar. Again, I just have too many guitar and am not finding a Jazzmaster being in the rotation. So I thought I'd let someone else have this nice and well-thought out guitar.
