Sound-wise, this thing is a real beauty of an overdrive beast: warm, punchy, dynamic, and with enough punch to give a clean amp a friendly nudge—or make a distorted amp briefly reflect on its life choices.

With the controls for Volume, Tone, Drive, 100Hz, and Curve, you can fine-tune the sound: from slightly gritty blues crunch to fat rock drive with plenty of punch. The 100Hz control is especially handy when the sound needs more low-end or when the bass end is trying to take over the band again. With Curve, you can further shape the character of the overdrive—tame, biting, or somewhere between “studio-ready” and “rhino in the stairwell.”
