Vintage Gibson 1960s Patent Sticker T-Top "PAF" pickup
This is a KILLER mid-60's "Transition" Patent Number / T-top PAF pickup. This is a very rare pickup - made at the time Gibson was phasing-in the new "T-top" bobbins. This is so early in the run that it has a mid-60's PAF style bobbin on the "slug" side and a T-top bobbin on the "screw" side. A very cool anomaly in Gibson's storied history. We've seen a few of these over the years. They sound fantastic!!
Great harmonic detail with crazy overtones and touch-sensitivity. This is the perfect pickup for the restoration of your mid-late 60's Gibson, but also a rare opportunity to upgrade a modern Les Paul or ES guitar with some serious vintage tone mojo.
