The Gretsch G5422TG Electromatic Classic Hollow Body Double-Cut with Bigsby features a laminated maple body with vintage lines, and a new bracing system that is even more reminiscent of the original Gretsch models made in Japan, capable of producing a vintage tone while minimizing unwanted feedback.
The new bracing design also provides the instrument with a more pronounced attack and greater definition, making it even better suited for overdrive sounds.
Finally, we cannot overlook the new set of FT-5E Filter-Tron pickups, which generate a warm yet always defined sound, true to Gretsch tradition. The circuitry includes a Master Volume with Treble Bleed, allowing you to lower the instrument's volume without unintentionally darkening its tone, a common issue with standard circuits lacking Treble Bleed.
