"Merlin"
Inspired by the Merlin Falcon, one of North America's most agile and relentless birds of prey, this custom PRS SE NF3 combines striking Ice Blue aesthetics with carefully selected performance upgrades. The pearloid accents reflect the Merlin's blue-gray plumage, while the upgraded hardware and electronics were chosen to deliver speed, precision, and confidence in every note.

This started life as a new PRS SE NF3 purchased in February for this project and was transformed into a professionally upgraded, player-focused instrument designed to deliver boutique-level playability, reliability, and tone.
The goal wasn't to modify a guitar—it was to build the NF3 that many of us wish PRS offered from the factory.
The result is an exceptionally comfortable, articulate, and versatile S-style instrument featuring premium hardware, custom electronics, extensive fretwork, and a unique visual identity.
