Overview
For sale is a 1983 BOSS SD-1 Super OverDrive, Made in Japan.

This is a clean early MIJ black label example of one of BOSS’ most important overdrive pedals. The SD-1 takes the classic asymmetric clipping circuit and gives it that tight, mid focused push that has made it a staple for decades. Brilliant into a clean amp, even better pushing an already cooking valve amp, and still one of the best drive pedals BOSS ever made.
