This Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the "pre-historic" '59 reissues Gibson made during the 1980's before they introduced their "historic" reissues in the early 1990's. This example has a gorgeous flamed top and plays and sounds excellent. Interestingly, this guitar is 40 years old, but a real '59 burst would have only been 27 years old when this one was made. This guitar shows light play wear but there is no structural damage. The parts are all original except for the harness which is newer. The original "Shawbuckers" sound incredible. The weight is 9 pounds 1 ounce. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store, plays great, and comes with the original case.
