This is really Cool. You are looking at a 2000 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar.  This guitar has a Beautiful Natural "Ash" Finish. The Book Matching on this guitar is Dead ON! Ash bodies, are reserved for the Natural finishes. Alder is the material used for the painted finishes. Only the very best pieces of wood make the cut for the Natural Finish. It is real easy to paint a wooden body. That is why the Natural Finish is a bit of a rarity. It is extremely hard to find a body that matches as well as this one.

The Fender American Standard Stratocaster is the Iconic model that all Strats are based on. This is the "Real Deal" Strat with the Maple Neck, 3-Upgraded Humbucker pickups. 5-way Selector Switch and vintage style saddle bridge with Trem Arm. The most copied electric guitar ever built. Leo Fender got it right when he came up with this design. . The most versatile guitar ever built. Rock, Blues, Surf or Country a Strat will always perform. Contoured Body and just flat out killer looks is what sets a Strat apart from any other instrument. The Former owner upgraded the Single Coil pickups to Seymour Duncan JB Jr Humbuckers that will fit in a single coil space without any modifications. The Seymour Duncan JB Jr. model will take your Strat to a whole new level. In the bridge position, this high output single-coil sized humbucker provides nice crunchy chords and screaming lead tone with that classic upper midrange cut. There will be tons of bright harmonic sparkle, and a tight focused low end. In the neck position of your Strat, the JB Jr. will deliver a big, bold sound. Great for fat rhythm playing, or thick, searing solos, this pickup packs quite a punch. The 4-conductor lead wire gives you access to parallel and split wiring options for added versatility. This pickup is a drop-in for any single-coil pickup route.
