This 2024 Northfield A5 Special Mandolin is in great shape with a spruce top, Maple sides and back, is fully bound with an Ivoroid pickguard and high gloss varnish finish. It plays and sound amazing. It is one of two Northfield mandolins I own and the other is my daily driver so time to let this one go.
The body and finish is in great shape but for one flaw. It came to me with a small area that had some marks in the finish. The original owner had had it buffed by a luthier and its very mild. It does not go thru the finish and you can only really see it if you are in just the right light. I took a close pic so you can see it but you will notice in the other pics you cant see it.
