G&L JB-5 USA 5- string Jazz Bass -2022 - Honey Amber- Pine body -w/Sadowsky Preamp + OHSC

Here we have a pre owned G&L JB-5 USA 5- string Jazz electric bass.  Made in Fullerton CA, USA in 2022.  This bass was bought brand new here at our shop a few years ago.  It it now being offered as pre owned.  This JB-5 has had an electronics modification with a Sadowsky SBP4k Preamp and a custom battery box installed.  We did all the work on this bass.  This wonderful JB-5 is finished in Honey Amber gloss.  It has a solid Pine body with a bolt- on Maple neck and fingerboard with black pearl face dot inlays.  2- G&L JB Alnico pickups.  The neck profile is the Modern C5 with a 1.775" nut width and a 9.5" radius.  G&L's Saddle Lock bridge.  This bass weighs 9lbs 11oz.  There are Dunlop Strap Lock buttons installed. Pickguard has been changed to Tortoise. Original Parchment guard is included. It comes with its original hard shell case, certificate, build sheet, and original passive control plate and pots. 
This JB-5 has just been pro setup by our technician and is playing amazingly well!   Strung with Ernie Ball 45-130's.  The neck is straight and the truss rod is working perfectly with good travel in either direction.  The frets are in excellent shape with very minor signs of play wear.  This bass plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues. 
Cosmetically, this bass is in excellent condition.  Hard to find a mark on it.  As clean as they come!   
If you are looking for a jazz bass with a little extra oomph, this JB-5 will deliver. The Sadowsky preamp really opens up the tonal possibilities.  You could choose to put the passive controls back as well.   Thanks for looking an happy buying!
