Introduced in 1939 as the L-5 P and later renamed the L-5 C in 1948, this guitar is a perfect illustration of Gibson’s craftsmanship: superb solid woods and elegantly understated ornamentation.
It is a pity that the photos are not accompanied by sound: this guitar is quite simply the best L-5 C I have ever had the pleasure of playing.
