Specs & Highlights:
Top: Red spruce harvested by the Hampton Brothers (Western NC) from a 250-year-old tree at 5,400' elevation
Back & Sides: Old-growth Guatemalan Rosewood, imported by Bruce Sexauer in 1980 and air-dried for nearly 40 years (not kiln-dried). Noted for transparency but barely noticeable, structurally-stable, hairline finish check on top.
Pickup: K&K passive installed
Inlay: Traditional torch inlay(reportedly from Preston’s stash)
