Thinning my huge collection. Here is a mid-1970's era 18 inch crash, exactly 1600G. Higher tessitura, greater volume, longer sustain, fewer overtones, narrower frequency range, more stick definition than thinner cymbals of it's era. The 70's stamp and weight puts it as a 70's medium-thin crash, made for rock, to cut through loud amps on stage. And it does that well. No keyholing, no cracks. It has a beautiful shimmer when tapped. The lathing on these 70's cymbals is far superior to new ones IMHO, beautifully hand made with no machines. No two were quite the same. I consider all reasonalble offers, packed and shipped professionally. Put it back on stage where it belongs.
