This Fender Precision Bass was made in the USA in 1958 and is one of the cleanest examples of this model we have encountered. There is light play wear including dings and dents but very little fingerboard wear and overall this is very clean. The bass is also 100% original except for the nut - and the original nut is in the case. Even the tweed case is very clean. Despite its clean condition, the bass was played and there is fretwear. Currently the bass plays fine with flatwounds, but for regular use with round wound strings we would recommend a refret. That said, we were reluctant to do that on this bass given how original it is. This bass weighs 8 pounds and 11 ounces. It has been pro-setup in our store, and comes with the original tweed case which is also very clean.
