RARE STRADIVARIUS 236 BELL + FIVE DIGIT SERIAL # VALVE CASING + PROTEC PRO PAC CASE
This horn features a #236 Corporation Bell and a mid-60's Elkhart M valve casing. It has a bright and powerful sound that will is hard to beat when it comes to blending with higher horns, and the ease of playing a C trumpet. Best suited for smaller ensembles and baroque era pieces, this horn will treat any skilled player well, as it comes from an era of Bach production that is known for its consistency and masterful work. This specific horn includes an added Giardinelli first valve slide thumb saddle that works great, and helps aid any intonation woes you cant address on some of these older horns that lack any first valve intonation aides.
Cosmetically, this horn is in great shape. The silver-plating on the horn is almost pristine, other than the bell engraving featuring some imperfections from a (presumed) previous plating patch job, and the valve casing showing the traditional wear and tear found on all of these old Bach horns. It features one dent, which is visible on the second valve slide, but all slides move beautifully, and the valves work smoothly otherwise.
More pictures are available upon request. This is a rare horn that you'll have trouble finding again.
