NLC Cellular Automata is a 12HP Eurorack gate/pattern generator based on comparing two incoming signals. Feed it two clocks, gates, LFOs, or audio-rate signals, and it generates multiple related gate outputs whose patterns shift depending on the frequency relationship between the inputs. The results can range from steady rotating patterns to irregular bursts, stutters, and jittery rhythmic movement, with LED rings showing the activity of the different output groups.
