Fernandes Headless Bass MIJ Black w/ EMG PJ Pickups Vintage

Vintage Fernandes headless bass made in Japan, finished in gloss black with rosewood fingerboard and active EMG PJ pickup configuration.

Just cleaned, restrung, and set up with great playable action.

This bass has a fast slim neck and a very comfortable compact body design that makes it lightweight and extremely easy to play. The headless construction gives it a unique late-80s / early-90s vibe while also making it incredibly balanced on a strap.

At some point in its life, the original electronics configuration was modified and it is now loaded with an EMG PJ pickup setup. The result is a very punchy, articulate tone with tight low end and excellent clarity. Great for rock, funk, metal, fusion, or studio work.

Controls are responsive and functioning properly.

Shows normal cosmetic wear throughout from age and use including light scratches, small dings, and general play wear. Overall presents very well for a vintage Japanese instrument.
