This PRS HFS Treble pickup came out of a guitar I bought (used) about a year ago. With that said, I don’t know the history of this pickup (what year it was made, if it was from another guitar or purchased separately or anything like that). Since the guitar also came with its original bridge pickup, I tried both to see which I liked better. The HFS sounded good, but I ended up going with the original.
As far as condition, there are some scratches on the face of the bobbin, and the previous owner of the guitar (or person that installed the pickup) had cut the wire lead to approximately 5“. Aside from that, the pickup is in good working condition. My multimeter read DC resistance at about 15.80k ohms which is within range of the 16k that PRS states these pickups should be at.
