Unlike standard Studios, this specific faded run features a carved solid mahogany top over a chambered mahogany body rather than a maple cap. This gives the guitar an incredibly resonant, warm, and mid-range focused tone with plenty of classic Les Paul sustain. Thanks to the factory weight relief, it is exceptionally comfortable to play for long sets without shoulder fatigue.
The thin nitrocellulose satin lacquer finish lets the wood breathe and gives the guitar a wonderful, worn-in vintage feel. The mahogany neck sports a comfortable '50s rounded profile that fills the hand perfectly without feeling overly bulky.
