For sale is a very clean 1970 Ludwig Spur-Lok hi-hat stand in great working condition. This is the classic flat-base three-leg model with the desirable Spur-Lok pedal.
Condition Details:
• Fully functional — smooth height adjustment, solid clutch/tilter, and reliable Spur-Lok pedal action
• Chrome is bright with only light, age-appropriate wear (no heavy pitting, flaking, or rust)
• All original parts including the felt cymbal seat, wing nuts, and rubber feet
• No bends, cracks, or stripped threads
• Pedal has nice engraving (“Ludwig Chicago” and “SPUR-LOK PAT. PEND.”)
• Classic lightweight design perfect for vintage Ludwig kits
It’s missing one little rubber footie and the other two simply show signs of aging ie they’re a bit cracked Easily replaceable and not important
This stand is from the golden era of Ludwig hardware and is ready to gig or display. It shows normal wear for a 55+ year old piece but remains one of the nicer examples you’ll find. Great for jazz, rock, or classic rock setups.
