The Royal Global MAX is a revolutionary bass clarinet, built to provide the highest quality and value. Based on the acclaimed Polaris bass clarinet, the MAX retains many professional features and acoustical designs but is manufactured from our exclusive ECO material.

Years in the making, our new ECO material is a unique blend of mostly grenadilla powder with a special synthetic resin. This innovative composite shares many of the same acoustical properties and density of grenadilla wood but is designed to be highly durable and resistant to cracking or dimensional movement. This added stability makes the MAX bass clarinet the premium choice for musicians who perform in a variety of environmental conditions, from classrooms and pit orchestras to the parade block or marching field.

This new model is lighter and more compact than any other Royal Global bass clarinet. It is the ideal instrument for middle school and high school students, doublers, and anyone who doesn’t need the extended range of a low C bass clarinet.
