The Malletech Dave Samuels DS18 Hard Vibraphone Mallets are a medium weight mallet designed for maximum "cutting power" in both amplified and acoustic group performance situations.
The DS11 and DS18 mallets have a unique small bronze core that increases the mass of the rubber head and "kicks-in" at high dynamic levels for even greater projection. They are medium weight mallets with 8.5 mm to 9 mm rattan handles.
