This is a working 32 channel digital mixing board with 2 ADAT cards. These ADAT cards are rare and very difficult to find and are valued at around $300 a piece. This expands the WR-DA7 from it's stock 16 inputs to a true 32 inputs.

Please note this will ship in 2 boxes, one for the mixer and the other for the meter bridge,

The Ramsa WR-DA7 is a classic 32-channel, 8-bus digital mixing console introduced by Panasonic in the late 1990s. Renowned for its warm 24-bit converters, motorized faders, and automated workflow, it was heavily favored in both professional recording studios and video post-production environments. A staple in pro-audio folklore, the WR-DA7 remains celebrated for its sound quality and rugged, heavy chassis. Here is a breakdown of its core features and specifications: Core Architecture & Processing

  • Channels: 32 inputs combined with 8 mix buses and 6 aux sends (with dedicated returns).
  • Dynamics & EQ: Each channel and mix bus features comprehensive 4-band parametric EQ, alongside robust dynamics processing (compressor, gate, and limiter).
  • Conversion: High-quality 24-bit A/D and D/A converters that provide over 110dB of dynamic range.

Hardware & Control Surface

  • Motorized Faders: Features 16 physical moving faders for channels 1-16, plus additional banks and faders for buses, master control, and external MIDI device control.
  • Display: A prominent, backlit LCD panel in the top-right corner serves as the visual hub for routing, metering, and parameter editing.
  • Build: The compact, heavy (23kg) chassis features a hard ABS resin faceplate and an optional meterbridge for precise visual feedback.

I/O & Connectivity

  • Analog Inputs: 16 built-in analog inputs (8 balanced XLRs with individually switchable phantom power on channels 1–8, and 8 TRS jack inputs on 9–16).
  • Expansion: Three expansion slots on the rear panel accommodate optional I/O cards (including ADAT, TDIF, and AES/EBU) to expand the desk's digital capabilities.
  • Post-Production: Equipped with built-in RS-422 and RS-485 connectivity for machine control, with options for SMPTE time code synchronization and 5.1 surround mixing.

Software & Automation

  • DAW Integration: Features comprehensive onboard automation for faders, mutes, and EQ.
  • Remote Control: The board can be connected to a Mac or PC via its serial interface using software like RamsaMax to back up scene memories, automation data, and operating systems.
