Burny Les Paul RLG 1980-1989 - Cherry

A proper MIJ Burny Super Grade from the early-to-mid 80s, back when Fernandes/Burny were turning out some of the best Les Paul copies money could buy. Flame maple top in cherry sunburst with the classic open-book headstock, pearloid keystone tuners, cream binding, and a single-piece mahogany back that still shows beautiful grain through the trans-red finish.

Loaded with the original Burny VH-1 humbuckers — these are the higher-grade PAF-style pickups Burny put in the better Super Grade models, and they deliver a warm, vocal voice with plenty of bite when you push them. Tune-o-matic and stop-tail bridge, four gold top-hat knobs, and the cream "Rhythm/Treble" toggle ring — all looking and working as they should.

Plays and sounds great — frets have plenty of life, neck is straight, electronics all working with no crackles. Cosmetically it's a player's instrument, not a closet queen. Honest wear includes:

Light swirl marks and fine scratches on the back of the body (visible in photos)

A small finish chip on the bottom edge near the strap button

A couple of tiny marks/dings on the top — nothing through the finish

Some light marking on the back of the headstock above the tuners

General light playwear consistent with a 40+ year old guitar

Everything appears original. No breaks, no repairs, no modifications.
