Ron Kirn Custom Tele-Style (Telecaster) with one-piece, beautifully quilted, Paulownia body, 4-way switch, Master Volume & Master Tone knobs with mother-of-pearl. MOP fret markers as well on the Rosewood fingerboard, Locking tuners, Ron's custom hand-wound pickups (Traditional Tele sound), True Nitrocellulose finish, Flamed maple neck. I had Ron make body with arm contour and Strat-like back contour (see pics) Light weight - 5lb., 11 oz. This custom build was the last piece of Paulownia Ron had in his shop.
Gotoh 6 Saddle Bridge, Solid machined jack plate with original Switchcraft jack, Genuine hand lacquered and polished Bakelite pick guard - as used by Leo Fender on the earliest Broadcasters, Neckplate, and String Ferrules all recessed for flush surface. Bone nut which is set up for .010 strings. Only one tiny imperfection on back as shown in pic. Otherwise this guitar is truly as new as the day I received it. An extremely resonant guitar and a priest example of Ron Kirn's craftsmanship. I just never took to electric playing as I had hoped.
Barely played (less than 8 hours), never gigged. Kept in smoke free home. Includes Semi-Hardshell Gator case. More photos available. Asking $1600.00 shipped to lower 48. Buy with confidence. I have bought and sold many guitars on UMGF (Martin Forum) and my Ebay Username is "65 Strat".
