This is a 2018 Taylor 324ce built at Taylor's El Cajon, California factory on September 27, 2018. It is one of the early production models to feature Taylor's V-Class bracing, which rolled out across the 300 series that year and marked a significant shift in how Taylor builds acoustic guitars.
The 324ce is an all-mahogany guitar, top, back, and sides, in the Grand Auditorium body shape with a Venetian cutaway. The shaded edgeburst finish gives the mahogany top a rich, dark character that photographs well and looks even better in person. The all-satin finish keeps things natural and tactile. Tonally this guitar is a midrange machine. Warm, focused, and balanced, it sits well in a mix whether you are recording or playing live. The ES2 electronics plug in cleanly and translate the acoustic tone faithfully.
Condition is fair with honest play wear throughout. There are light surface scratches across the top and back from regular use, a small chip at the bottom binding edge, and a hairline scratch on the lower side. None of the wear affects playability or structural integrity. The guitar plays well and sounds great. The original Taylor hardshell case is included. The case exterior shows use wear and one latch is slightly bent but functional. Interior is clean.
