A popular favorite for the gigging guitarist, the AC15C1 is modern and toneful, yet it won't give you back problems like its big brother, the AC30. It's design is very similar, with one channel incorporating the preamp circuitry from the "Normal" input on the AC30, and the other channel featuring the "Top Boost" circuit. The preamp circuit is powered by three ECC83 tubes. It also uses two cathode-biased EL-84s.
As you may have discerned from the name, this amp runs at 15 watts, which lends itself to a bit more natural tube breakup than it's larger counterpart. Sweet, sweet tube breakup. You can even crank the gain and use the handy-dandy Master volume to squeeze out even more grit. With that being said, it's still an amazing platform for effect pedals and also works well on its own, featuring tremolo and a spring-based reverb.
It houses one 16 ohm 12" Celestion Greenback speaker, with the ability to switch the impedance via the switch on the back. With loads of options at your fingertips, the AC15C1 is a great option for anyone looking for an affordable, portable, and tonally versatile amplifier.
This Vox is lightly used and we'll ship it to ya safely and swiftly! Feel free to give us a shout at the shop with any questions you may have about this amp.
