This is a rare and fantastic Fender Harvard! Not often seen, this was the amp that filled the gap between the Princeton and the Deluxe amplifiers. This amp was a joy to see come through our doors: the rare and illustrious Fender Harvard, this tweed example of the 5F10 circuit from 1956 - the golden era of electric guitars. The Harvard is a 10-watt 1x10" that was most famously used by guitarist Steve Cropper on dozens of hit songs throughout the 1960s. This Harvard is in excellent working condition with heavy wear to the tweed covering which gives the amp that elusive Vintage Vibe!

This features the 5F10 circuit with 10 watts going to one 10" speaker. The speaker is a replacement Jensen C10R speaker. This reissue speaker is made in Italy by the modern Jensen brand. This is a reissue of the ceramic magnet speaker u/developed in the early 60s and used throughout the 60s on Fender black face amps. It’s a favorite speaker among studio guitarists, as the C10R’s supremely balanced response can often make it easier to record than a larger, more bass-heavy speaker.

This app has been recently serviced, with a three-prong plug newly installed, and newly replaced Emerson Caps. The original caps will ship with the amplifier.

It's a fantastic sounding amp that functions perfectly. Excellent breakup and perfect tweed tones. There is a definite deep and luscious tone to the Harvard amps which have led them tobe among the most sought after gems of the small Fender tweed combo world.
