Squier Bullet Bass 1987 - Black - MIK Made in Korea P-Style Vintage Bass - First Year Squier by Fender

This 1987 Squier by Fender Made in Korea bass is ready to rock!

This has the rare star logo on the headstock and is from the first year of Squier Bullet bass production in Korea. It has P-bass style pickups and has the deep, warm tones of the 80s.

It shows some signs of wear that you would expect from a 40 year old instrument. I did my best to capture it all in the pictures. There are some minor dents on the body but it’s in overall great shape. There’s a tiny bit of rust on the input jack and pickups (see photos) but it could easily be cleaned up and it doesn’t impact playability at all. There’s also a small, hard to notice crack in the headstock/neck area that has been professionally stabilized (See pictures). It doesn’t impact playability at all and it still tunes with zero issues.

It’s ready to plug in and jam and has some great, deep tones that you can only get from a P-Bass. The shape is sleek and stylish and the lacquer on the neck is amazing. It feels like a really luxurious instrument. The truss rod works exactly as it should. The bridge on it is really nice as well. You can easily adjust the action to your liking.

Overall it’s in good shape and will be an awesome bass for anyone who wants to stand out and turn heads.
