For your consideration is a highly sought-after Gibson Adam Jones 1979V2 Les Paul Custom (Aged and Signed), one of only 79 ever made. The serial number is 1979V2 7X (with the last digit covered to protect the privacy of the next owner). It is the 2nd version of Adam Jones’s Custom Shop Les Paul. Unlike the heavily reliced 1st version, this version was lightly aged by the Murphy Lab team, just like the Adam Jones Flying V Collector’s Edition, which is also being listed. If you choose to purchase both, we would be more than happy to work out a special bundle deal, as we would love for them to go to a new home together.

The guitar is in essentially brand-new condition, having been safely stored in a climate-controlled collector’s environment since its original purchase. It comes complete with all original case candy, including the removable headstock mirror and the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Notably, the back of the headstock has been hand-signed and year-dated by Adam Jones himself.

It has received a professional setup prior to listing, and it plays and sounds absolutely excellent.

Gibson applied a nitrocellulose finish to the hardshell case, which gives it a slightly tacky feel and makes it prone to light white marks, adding to its cool, aged look. The guitar will be professionally packed with extra care and shipped fully insured.
