This 1958 Fender Precision (P-Bass) has been in my family since High School!
It is absolutely a masterpiece of instrument design. The 1958 Fender Precision Bass marks the exact golden era where Leo Fender perfected the electric bass formula.
One of the most sought after basses on the planet! Some popular opinions are that the 1958 is the ultimate P basses!
The body was Refinished to its original beauty and the Pickguard was replaced. There is a crack in the wood on the back of the headstock (SEE PHOTO)!
I wanted to share my thoughts on the refinished P-Bass. There is certainly no crime in an instrument being refinished; in fact, I believe this bass has more soul now than it did 40+ years ago. While its look was uninspiring back then, (before I became the owner), I am very inspired by both the sound and the new aesthetic of my 1958 Fender P-Bass. I wish that the bass had not needed to be refinished but it was totally necessary to help protect the wood from the elements. As it stands to date: this bass has a great deal of character!

NOTE: Comes with a non-original hard case (one of the latches is broken)
