Very nice Original 1963 Hofner 500/1 Bass Guitar. Flat Gold Script Logo, control pots date 1963, flame maple back, back of headstock stamp 408, Plays Great and sounds super clean and everything you would expect from these old wood tones. This beauty has wear from playing as shown, straight neck, Truss rod is moving correct left and right with no issues. it is possible this one had a Refret, to be honest the fret job is excellent all throughout, and it’s very hard to tell, I’m going off that the frets virtually have no wear. I put a brand new set of LaBella 760fhb2 flatwounds on for the sale. Comes with its Original Hardshell case (all latches work great, the outside has lots of wear and tears as shown.
