Last chance! Next week if it hasn't sold I'll just keep it.

For sale is the pioneer RG-60 dynamic expander. It was manufactured in approximately 1984 and is in perfect working condition.

There are some scratches on the top, but the face is virtually perfect, and this is a great addition to a classic Pioneer system, or any stereo with a tape loop or separate amp/preamp setup.

It increases the dynamic range of any music source, and also includes a tape monitor loop, so when using it with your receiver or preamp, you do not lose a tape input/output

Here is what AI has to say about it:

Pioneer RG-60 Dynamic Processor / Dynamic Expander

The Pioneer RG-60 is a classic vintage audio component from the golden age of hi-fi separates, designed to enhance the liveliness and impact of music playback. Produced during the late 1970s to early 1980s, the RG-60 combines dynamic range expansion and noise reduction features in a handsome silver-faced component that pairs beautifully with Pioneer receivers, amplifiers, and cassette decks of the era.

Perfect for vintage stereo enthusiasts, cassette collectors, or anyone building a classic rack system.

  • Analog VU / Level Meters
    • Attractive illuminated meters provide a classic vintage hi-fi appearance while displaying signal activity in real time.
  • Tape Monitor / Processor Loop Compatibility
    • Easily integrates into most vintage stereo systems through tape monitor loops.

    • Brushed aluminum faceplate
    • Silver controls and switches

  • and classic Pioneer aesthetics

make it a standout piece in any vintage audio setup.

Approximate Era of Manufacture

  • Circa late 1970s to early 1980s

Notes for Buyers

Because these units are now vintage electronics, occasional cleaning of switches and controls may be beneficial for optimal performance. Units in excellent cosmetic and working condition are becoming increasingly collectible.

A terrific addition to any classic Pioneer system and an increasingly hard-to-find vintage processor.
