Bourgeois Touchstone L DBO 2026 - High Gloss Sunburst

This is a brand new Bourgeois Touchstone L DBO Standard. It is in mint condition. The tone is round and resonant: Very good base, mids are clear and woody with surprising volume and resonance. The trebles ring out bell-like. Clear note separation, sweet sounding and distinctive Bourgeois tone. Even Dana Bourgeeois says that this guitar sounds exactly like the model that sells for 6000$. Honestly, I hate to part with it, but because I have developed arthritis in my fretting hand, the soft V neck which most people find very comfortable (and I do also) is not optimal for me when I use a capo on the third fret.

The L DBO is larger than a OO, slightly smaller than a OOO/OM, and designed with a 25" scale length. The L DBO has two "secret weapons": an unusually large sound hole for its size, and narrow 1/4 inch bracing, which combine to produce unusual power and presence in a small package. It is Dana Bourgeois's "go-to guitar". Top is Alaska Sitka Spruce (torrefied); Back and Sides are Quarter-sawn straight grain Mahogany. Top is hand voiced by Dana Bourgeois in Maine.
