Vintage Gibson ES-345TD Custom in Cherry finish made in 1964 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a double bound semi-hollow maple back & sides body with a maple top, mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard. Equipped with its original Gibson PAF in the neck position and original Gibson "Patent No" in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots, a 3-way pickup toggle and 6-way Varitone rotary dial. The 24.75" scale length neck has pearloid split parallelogram inlays and tortoise side markers with 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius with a slim D profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Kluson Deluxe Single line Single ring tuning machines with keystone heads, a bone nut, a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge w/ Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece and top hat reflector knobs with a single ply tortoise shell pickguard.

This guitar was a custom order as the ebony fretboards were custom order only options on these models and rare.

This guitar is in overall very good condition for its age. It has had a minor headstock repair at some point in its life which was done very well and is very hard find. The guitar shows finish checking, light dings, finish marks and scuffs throughout. There are some light dings here and there and some very small finish nics/chips. The gold plating is worn on most of the hardware. The neck has some areas of lighter finish worn away and some scuffs. One of the volume knobs label is worn away and one of the tone knobs has a dent. One of the tone pots shielding tins was removed at some point in its life and another pot tin was resoldered. (See pics)

Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings. Includes stereo cable, BMF Effects ES-Box and Original Marigold interior Hard Shell Case.
