1962 Magnatone Custom 435 Vintage Amp Head. A terrific 50 Watt grinder from one of the coolest amp makers of all time. Originally part of a 4x10 combo, this amp had a single 32ohm (!) output when I bought it, which I had changed out for a switchable 4/8/16ohm output transformer (Heyboer Fender Bandmaster APD-8006H) that works great. Modern power tubes, ready to go. It's a bass amp the way a Bassman is a bass amp...in that it's also (maybe mostly) a killer guitar amp. Deep, thick sound--like a tweed Fender but heavier. It's a killer amp, super rare, and I want it to go to a good home and get played. Pickup/dropoff anywhere around Chicago is easy. Can deliver to some parts west in August. Shipping flat $125.
