intage Roland D-20 Linear Synthesizer / Workstation in excellent condition and fully functional. Made in Japan. Part of a longtime progressive/futurist-era home studio collection built over decades by a serious Rush and electronic music fan. The collection included Steinberger, Kubicki, Moog, Roland, and other carefully maintained period instruments that were actively used and kept as part of a working setup rather than stored away. The D-20 combines Roland’s classic LA synthesis architecture with onboard sequencing and multitimbral functionality, making it one of the more interesting transitional-era Roland workstations. If you know the D-50 family sound, you already know the territory this lives in. All keys, buttons, sliders, outputs, modulation/bender controls, and floppy drive are present and functioning. Clean overall condition with intact panel graphics and no major cosmetic damage. Includes attached power cable. The original owner passed away recently after a battle with cancer, and part of the collection is now being released to help support his son’s transition to Norwich University and Army ROTC this fall. This is a real longtime-owner instrument with genuine history behind it, not a reseller flip or abandoned storage find.
