This is a 1959 / 1961 Pre CBS Fender Strat.
Neck is an original 1959 Maple with a pencil dated 1-1959. It has an old refret and laquer re=spray with a new decal. Neck is straight, narrow, and is a nice player.
Original tuners Pre CBS Single Line Klussons.
Original 1959 Neck Plate with Serial number.
Original 1961 Pre CBS Fender Strat alder body. Was professionally refinished in Olympic white. No addtl routs. Originally a sunburst. Pencil dated 04-1961.
Original 1959 Pre CBS Bridge Plate, saddles, block, claw and springs.
Original 1959 - 1961 Plastic knobs and pickup covers.
Original 1959-1960 Black Bottom pickups - rewound by Lindy Fralin. loud and clear !
original Pre CBS strap buttons.
Pickguard, pots and switch not original.
Killer sound - ships in a case.
(because the 1959 necks are narrow I am also including a narrower tremelo unit in case you prefer it)
