I am selling my Takamine GD30CE acoustic-electric in excellent, like new condition. This Takamine GD30CE comes in a brand new Glarry Tweed Hardshell Case. This Takamine came to me from MIRC in Nashville which gets guitars from many manufacturers that either don’t pass inspection, or are overstock guitars. They then repair any defects, and gently stamp “used” on the back of the headstock. This GD30CE falls in the overstock category as I found nothing at all wrong with this guitar. They then sell them to their dealers at a very good price, and then as a dealer I can sell you a like new guitar for a great price. This Takamine GD30CE will be ready to go right out of the box as I have done a setup for low action, and restrung it with D’Addario EJ-16 light gauge strings. Buy with confidence as we have 389 5* reviews here on Reverb, and many more sales in my local markets in VA, and SC!!!

Takamine - 50 years of quality, great sound, and playability

The Takamine GD30-CE dreadnought cutaway acoustic-electric guitar benefits from a half-century of Takamine guitar-crafting knowhow. Launched in 1962 at the foot of Japan's Takamine mountains, Takamine has been designing and building acoustic guitars that are seen in the hands of some of music's biggest stars. With quality and value as guiding principles, Takamine's instruments employ the finest tonewoods, construction techniques, and technical innovations, such as the proprietary TP4T preamp system found in this guitar.

Takamine's TP4T preamp system

The GD30-CE sports Takamine's TP4T preamp, giving you rich, clear-sounding amplified output, instantly. A feature of G-Series guitars, the TP4T features a gain knob; a tuner; an active shelving EQ with bass, middle, and treble sliders; and a low battery indicator. The preamp is switched on by plugging a standard instrument cable into the end pin/strap pin jack. Unplugging the cable turns the preamp off. The TP4T is powered by a single 9-volt battery.
