Vintage 1981 Moog Prodigy Model 336A analog synthesizer (Serial #9445) from a longtime private collection centered around progressive rock, analog synths, and late-70s/early-80s electronic gear. Fully functional and part of a real working setup alongside a Roland Juno-106, Moog Rogue, vintage basses, and other carefully maintained instruments from the same era. This was not sitting boxed in storage or pulled out purely for resale photos. It stayed plugged in, connected, and actively used. The collection had a very specific personality to it. If your brain immediately goes toward Rush, early Gary Numan, classic analog synth textures, or late-night Moog noodling, you already understand the room this came from. This is an early 1981 Mk2 Prodigy with factory rear-panel CV/gate connectivity. Serial number and rear-panel details are shown in the photos. Cosmetic condition is honest and very good overall for its age. The wood side panels show visible edge wear and finish loss from decades of real-world use, exactly the kind of wear you expect from a synth that actually lived in a working setup. Front panel graphics present well, keys are clean overall, and the synth still has that unmistakable raw Moog presence the moment you start turning knobs. Additional photos and detail shots available for serious buyers. Part of an estate transition being sold to help fund the owner’s son’s transition to Norwich University and Army ROTC this fall.
