This is an original 1952 Gibson ES-125. The finish and woods are all original. the components are modern quality replacements including a Lollar P90, Kluson style tuners, and accurate 50s wiring.
This guitar plays completely perfectly. Low action. each note rings clearly and it can bend a whole step or more anywhere on the fretboard without choking out. It sounds absolutely amazing with an exceptionally full and articulate sound.
This guitar has a clean headstock repair and also a repair around the output Jack with a brass plate. This is absolutely stable and in my opinion is just about the coolest repair ever done to a vintage Gibson. A little bit steampunk but still classy!
Modern Gibson case included. A tight fit around the sides but it gets the job done nonetheless. There is plenty of room for the bridge on top in the case.
The truss rod cover is for a Les Paul Custom and is broken on the top part. It stays in place fine. Kluson style tuners aren’t drilled in every slot. You could easy drill these empty slots or just let it be. I’ll let the new owner determine.
