This listing is for a new in original box SONUS (Sonic Research Corp.) SR-202 MM (moving magnet) phono cartridge w/ stylus. This stylus is known as the Black Label stylus and is designed for very low mass tone arms and headstocks; it weighs practically nothing and is for those audiophiles have a discerning ear that can tell the difference between a cartridge designed for the discriminating audio enthusiast and one designed for the "masses". While these are normally quite pricey, this is new old stock and is guaranteed to give you the performance level you desire to hear every nuance in the music, whether you are a classical fan, or pop, rock, or country; the quality is there! Since the design is moving magnet (M/M) it will NOT require an additional phono preamp as those extremely sensitive low output moving coil designs.
