The Peavey TransTube 212 EFX is a powerhouse 100-watt, solid-state 2x12 combo guitar amplifier produced from 2002 to 2007. Widely appreciated for its bulletproof reliability, stage-level volume, and tube-mimicking analog circuitry, this amp pairs Peavey’s renowned "Red Stripe" era TransTube emulation with a built-in digital effects processor.

- T-Dynamics & Resonance Controls: The front panel includes a T-Dynamics control knob (adjustable from 10% to 100% power). This acts as a power attenuator/compression dial. Dialing it down allows the amplifier to break up and compress naturally at low apartment volumes. The Resonance control toggles between tight and loose low-end responses.
- WYSIWYG Digital Effects: The "What You See Is What You Get" effects section includes nine onboard presets operated by a primary adjust knob and a secondary tweak mode. Selectable effects include Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Octaver, Touch Wah, and Rotating Speaker.
