The Kasuga Scorpion is a highly sought-after, vintage line of electric guitars and basses manufactured in Japan during the late 1970s by the Kasuga Gakki factory. Famous for their premium craftsmanship, neck-through-body construction, and Alembic-inspired designs, these models feature exotic woods and versatile electronics.
Models SC-800 features a 7-ply maple/walnut neck-through design with high-end body Sen (Japanese Ash) wood. Equipped with two DiMarzio humbuckers. This model has 24-fret fast-playing necks that deliver exceptional sustain. Controls: Master Volume, 2-Tone, 3-Way Selector Switch. The weight is 8.7 pounds.
Because Kasuga Gakki ceased production, Scorpion series instruments are highly prized in the vintage Japanese guitar market. Used models are rare and occasionally traded on international music marketplaces. Please consider this exceptional and rare guitar.
